Welcome

Dear Reader and Supporter,

We are so happy you stopped by. This book is a celebration of taking on new challenges, art & illustration, cultural diversity and teaching our children the importance of these things! The book started as a Kick Starter campaign and blossomed into a full fledged business. The response to the book and illustration style has been astonishing. SO, with sincere gratitude, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting this dream. If you take a look around you will find all the pages promised in the book, including information on a mission of giving and the game key to the elements hidden throughout the book!

Enjoy and many thanks.

Sincerely,

Erin Hangero | Author & Illustrator &

Deb Schlichting | Digital Illustrator

More than a book. A commitment to providing cultural experiences for children who otherwise would not have access.

Collective Animal Nouns

Collective animal nouns are those wonderful, sometimes silly names for groups of animals. Did you know that every group of animals has a collective noun!? There are common ones like school of fish, flock of seagulls, herd of sheep. BUT, there are many that make no sense and THAT is what makes them so much fun! I discovered one for each letter of the alphabet and viola, Earth of Foxes was born.

Author & Illustrator

This book was born as a passion project for working mom and artist Erin Hangero. The idea for the book was first born out of a tiny seed planted while studying abroad in Namibia. She fell in love with the country, the animals and of course her now husband, Kavee. From her days experiencing the Namibian culture first hand all the way around the world to her home in Minnesota, this little seed grew to flourish into the book. Earth of Foxes is an idea born out of love and filled with intentions that go far beyond the pages.
